Marc has over 30 years experience in Strategy Consulting, Corporate Finance and Interim Management in diverse sectors including aviation, oil and gas, fintech, e-commerce, games, telecoms, engineering, robotics, television, fertilizer and packaging. He has worked on dozens of transactions usually as head of financial modelling and valuation.


Marc is the owner and founder of a boutique consulting firm, Orinoco Solution Ltd, based in London which has recently advised on transactions for airBaltic (Latvian national carrier), Cubana (national carrier of Cuba), InvestEngine (wealth-tech), Nonna Tonda (a food kits), Motive PLC (television) Lukoil Ukraine (Oil retail), Stream (Oil production).

Between 2000 and 2013, Marc mostly advised and worked for a number of tech companies including Gumtree, Slando, antiqueschannel.com, Shadow Robot Company, but he also worked on a number of projects in the oil industry including Urals Oil, TNG, Almenara and Lukoil.

Marc’s career started in 1991 as a strategic consultant when he joined a Bain and Co Scandinavian spin-off: Arkrwright Consulting. In 1994, he moved to Moscow to join and eventually lead the post-privatisation restructuring team for the Russian Privatisation Centre (a Russian government organisation funded by USAID, TACIS and the World Bank). After his return to London, Marc joined the corporate finance department of the strategy consultancy firm Arthur D Little.

Marc holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bristol, a management accountancy qualification (CIMA), speaks English and French fluently, and passable Russian and Spanish.
